We interviewed some of the suppliers in person and asked questions regarding how they manage their current sales, what problems do they have.
We also interviewed some end user personas. Asking the following questions:

Existing practices about their interactions with their suppliers (once they have identified the supplier and make the initial contact).
Do you source only from your existing suppliers or also new suppliers?
If new, how do you look for new suppliers? (Ask your contacts, google, websites)

How do you track orders, make order adjustments, and reorder?
How do you handle payments with your suppliers?
Do you have a supplier management tool at your company?
What do you think can be improved in your order and payment process?
Opinions about using a webshop/automated purchasing transaction tool
Does any of the suppliers you know have a webshop? Have you used it?
Are there anything regarding the whole purchasing process you would like to know from your new suppliers which are currently hard to get/not transparent enough?
In which situation would you like to use the webshop?
Would you like to pay using the webshop?
