Chill'Ness is a festival series held by Erasmus Student Network Turkey. The initial idea was created by a guy who wanted to have a camping event. When he contacted me and my team mate Kamil Can Erdem, we moved it beyond the initial idea and branded the event as a chill getaway from all the stress, having students in mind.
At that time, all the events held by ESN were related to parties, crowds and city life. So, we created our slogan "escape the ordinary!" challenging that. Chill'Ness is a unique national event, an event students look forward to, each year, an event like no other.
It was a success which made us happy and proud. It is regarded as one of the coolest events of ESN Turkey. Because each step was done elaborately with love and It is loved by many students coming from all around the world.
Thanks to all these, now Chill'Ness is a well recognized event, held each year in different editions. My responsibility was to create a branding for the event and many years, the identity of the event is still strongly unchanged. I sometimes get involved helping preserve the brand identity and talk with new designers taking over the current edition.

Official national event of ESN Turkey Chill'ness is a spirit created for chilling and relaxing. Since the target is students, from high pace of lectures and exams, It offers a getaway, a time reserved for chilling and embracing the nature. Parties can be fun but Erasmus Student Network is not only about parties and night-outs. With this in mind, ESN Turkey created a tradition as a National Event and invited students to get to know each other and nature better near campside in the heart of Aegean Sea, İzmir.
Chill'Ness is the biggest national event of the semester that takes place in İzmir at a camping area just by the beach.

The Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is the biggest student association in Europe. It was born on the 16th October 1989 and legally registered in 1990 for supporting and developing student exchange.
They are present in more than 800 Higher Education Institutions from 39 countries. The network is constantly developing and expanding. They have around 15,000 active members that are
in many sections supported by so called buddies mainly taking care of international students.Thus, ESN involves around 34,000 young people offering its services to around 200,000 international students every year.
